The Group
We are a privately owned group of companies formed in 1953 by our present Chairman, Mr FJ Pistol. Day-to-day management is now by our Managing Director, Mr Neil Pistol.
The group of companies have a number of interests including two active sales organisations, the Embassy group and the Pistol group. These two companies concentrate on the marketing, importation and after sales support of specialist machine tools, operating as a sole representative. Generally we operate in two broad areas:
Embassy Group - medium-light engineering - sheet metal stamping and forming, sheet metal assembly, automatic component assembly and welding/fixing, industrial cleaning and degreasing plus specialist niche areas in wire working including spring and fastener manufacture.
Pistol Group - pharmaceutical and metal packaging equipment - tablet manufacture and inspection, flexible packaging, form fill and seal machines (plastic), freeze drying equipment and can and drum manufacture.
Additionally we have interests in manufacturing, both in the UK and overseas.
EMBATOOL HOUSE
Our head office, Embatool House, in London Colney, adjacent to the city of St Albans.
We operate from a modern two storey office block comprising of approximately 10,000 sq.ft.. We also possess a warehouse/showroom at the rear of the office block, again approximately 10,000 sq.ft. in floor area. ..
